The
weather’s been delightful here in Nebraska this winter and I've been taking walks as often as I can .
Though there are no mountains near, the bike trail I follow winds through a
copse along a lake. I lean against one of the trees and watch the geese.
Copse - a small thicket of trees, especially poplars.
Scree - the small rocks and rubble at the base of a mountain
Cairn - a purposely laid pile of rocks to mark a hiking
trail.
Grike - a gate so narrow as to allow a human to pass through
but not a cow (or buffalo).

I feel this was done JUST to make me jealous (obviously, it's all about me). Love that you walked our bike trail and would really love to go with you next time. Big hug and thanks for the words!
